The “Ser Natureza” Project (be nature project) is making great strides! On April 12, 2024, we launched this year’s edition by planting 310 native seedlings of various species at the Cristo Rei Farm, owned by Mr. Jefferson Fernandes. The fenced spring is part of the Rio Cana Brava basin, the focal point of this initiative.
Several of our employees participated, alongside representatives from Engie, one of our key partners. The event was also graced by the presence of the municipal environment secretary, the military police, and PrevFogo, institutions that bolster the project’s efforts in our municipality. It was a true celebration of nature and our commitment to the environment.
The “Ser Natureza” Project is an initiative of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Goiás, proudly executed with the help of vital regional partners. Throughout 2024, we aim to fence and restore an additional 10 springs. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in this collaborative effort for the sake of our environment and future generations. Together, we are safeguarding the rivers in our region.
