On December 1st, another event of the Ser Natureza project took place, an initiative of the Public Ministry of Goiás, which we proudly executed along with significant partners in our region. On this occasion, 30 students from the 1st and 2nd years of high school, from the State School of Campo Santo Antônio de Cana Brava, joined in the planting of 202 native cerrado seedlings on the property of Mr. Gessé Barros. The moment was a true celebration of nature and our commitment to the environment. The Management team of Institutional Relations and Social Responsibility and Environmental Management of Mineração Serra Verde, as well as the Municipal Secretary of the Environment, Elki Sandra Gonçalves, and her team also took part in this initiative. We cannot forget to mention the owner Gessé Barros and the company Cerradão who were essential for the success of the seedling planting. The Ser Natureza Project – Taking Care of the Cana Brava River has already fenced and restored 8 springs in 2023 and we are looking forward to continuing this important work in 2024, strengthening our Environmental Education Program.
