Serra Verde Mining celebrates the ELAS Project during March – Women’s Month -, which has achieved significant results over these months, marking a powerful journey of female empowerment.
Between September 2023 and February 2024, we convened 10 meetings, attended by a total of 359 women.The meetings were marked by important themes related to mental health, female presence in mining, personal history, self-awareness and challenges in the job market. Additionally, we were joined by partner companies including Parex, R&D, Forship, CME, Diefra and Máxima.
The ELAS Project goes beyond numbers; it’s about strengthening the female voice and shaping a more inclusive work environment. Women’s Month is an important celebration for everyone and we will continue to advance towards a culture of equality and respect.
