Mineração Serra Verde seeks to continuously share the care we have for the health of our employees with the community. Therefore, we promote the 2nd edition of the Community and Movement Project, in Praia do Sol, in Minaçu. The project had the support of nursing professionals from the Municipal Health Department, who performed pressure measurement and blood glucose tests, from SENAI – Minaçu technicians who performed bioimpedance tests and from physical educators from the Department of Tourism, Sports, Leisure and Youth, who held functional circuit classes for the city’s residents.
The company’s doctor, Dr Eduardo Ribeiro, held a lecture to answer questions about food and cholesterol for the residents participating in the event, who could also take advantage of the presence of a physiotherapist to practice stretching in a dedicated space. To take care of the children while the parents received the orientations and performed the exams, we offered games, face painting and a space with toys.
