Closing of the Black Awareness Week at SVPM

To celebrate Black Awareness Day, we, at Mineração Serra Verde, carried out a series of actions this November, both for our employees and for the local community.

With our internal audience we reflected through an online lecture on the theme Black Consciousness and the participation of Valéria Silva, a teacher and quilombola remnant.

We also supported the Cultural Circuit of Black Arts En’cantos, in Minaçu, organized by the Black Pastoral Agents of Brazil (APNs), which sought to promote the ancestry and Afro-cultural values present in the region.

We also organised the Elas Project, which brought together women who work at Mineração Serra Verde, with the participation of our collaborators Valéria Dias and Nadirene Gonzaga to share their stories. This content can also be checked out on Linkedin- “We are diverse. We are Serra Verde.”

Together, we promote diversity and respect by inspiring our teams.
