Actions for the Preservation of Water Resources

In the month when we celebrate World Water Day, Serra Verde, in partnership with the Departments of Education and Environment of Minaçu, and ENGIE, launched a new cycle of the Sustainability Project, focusing on Water Resources for the year 2024.
The launch event took place at Juscelino Kubitschek School in Minaçu, attended by over 100 students and teachers from the 16 schools. Representatives from Mineração Serra Verde hosted a discussion on the importance of preserving Water Resources and the celebration of World Water Day on March 22.
The event also featured Pistache the macaw, the mascot of Mineração Serra Verde’s Environmental Education Program, who entertained the children, along with musical and poetry performances by students from the local schools.
