Mineração Serra Verde, through ourAbrace Minaçu Program , are committed to social responsibility and the protection and assurance for the rights of children, adolescents and women.
Since the beginning of the year, the program has trained approximately 28 professionals from the protection network of Minacu, as well as 18 others from specific agencies of the network, including the Guardianship Council, the Municipal Council for Children and Adolescent Rights, the Specialized Centre for Women’s Assistance and the Municipal Council for Women’s Rights.
In addition, the initiative “Multiplying Protection through Prevention”, a partnership between our company and the Civil Police and the State University of Goias, concluded last week with 39 students graduating from the Education course. These studentsreceived technical training over the past three months to conduct awareness and protection actions for children and adolescents in public schools
