Mineração Serra Verde joined forces with the Military Fire Department, PREVFOGO/IBAMA, the Municipal Department of the Environment, and the Rural Producers’ Union during August and September to reinforce awareness about wildfire prevention.
During the most critical period of the dry season, lectures, discussion circles, awareness patrols, and informational materials were carried out in communities, schools, and rural areas. The action directly benefited around 500 people and included the donation of 900 native seedlings, contributing to the recovery of affected areas. 🌱
More than an annual initiative, the campaign reinforces the value of partnerships and the collective commitment to preserving the biome.
