Soil
Soil conservation is a fundamental pillar for sustainable mining and we aim to preserve natural resources and minimize environmental impacts to ensure the quality of life of communities and the preservation of the environment. Serra Verde has implemented several measures and programs to minimise the impacts of mining on the soil, in addition to promoting its recovery whenever possible.
Main programs conducted:
The Road Conservation and Control Programs (PROVIAS), the Degraded Areas Recovery Program (PRAD), the Program for Monitoring and Control of Erosive Processes, Slopes and Slopes, the Program for the Recovery, Monitoring and Maintenance of Permanent Preservation Areas (APPs), the Forest Compensation Program and the Program for Monitoring and Control of Suppression.
