Mineração Serra Verde was honoured to participate in two panels at EXPOSIBRAM, the largest mining even in Latin America, held between the 9th and 12th of this month.
In the first panel, Pedro Burnier, Mineração Serra Verde’s Director of ESG, Strategy and Corporate Affairs, spoke about Critical Minerals and Strategies in Brazil. Topics discussed included what rare earths are, our operation’s pioneering position and having achieved the milestone of bringing the country’s first rare earths plant into operation. Pedro also discussed topics such as the company’s history, its location and sustainability.
On the last day of the event, Thras Moraitis, the CEO of Serra Verde Group, participated in a panel on Geopolitics and Strategic Minerals, discussing the potential of these minerals to support Brazil’s s agenda, aiming to reduce bottlenecks and navigate national, international and regional regulations.
It was a privilege to attend such an important event, reaffirming our commitment to sustainable development and innovation in the mining sector.
