At the Mineração Serra Verde’s Physics and Chemical Laboratory, sustainable practices are adopted across all its processes.
A team of almost 30 employees assesses the operational quality and purity of the final product and ensures that the parameters meet customer requirements and legal standards.
The team carries out its activities with a constant focus on the conscious use of resources, to ensure we are operating sustainably. All materials used are neutralised and disposed of properly. Some examples of our practices include recirculation of used water, the reusage of some waste such as glass bottles, which are crushed and used to clean the spraying equipment and the use of a bag filter and gas washer to control atmospheric effluents.
